PLEASE
NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT POINTS:-
The
cliff edges are dangerous and crumbling in the Trimingham and Mundesley
area.
The beaches have now been declared free of mines, but there are
still areas of the cliffs which have yet to be cleared and these
are clearly signed. Any unusual metal objects found in the vicinity
should be left in situ and reported to the local police, telephone
01692 402222
The
disused railway line is now private property and out of bounds.
There are several Rights of Way in the area and various paths across
the cliffs. These should be checked for suitability of the group.
There
are large sandy beaches at Overstrand (3 miles from the cabin) and
Mundesley (2.5 miles away) with easy access.
Because
of the difficult currents in some conditions, swimmers should be
given clear instructions about what to do in any emergency.
There
are paved slipways at Mundesley and Overstrand.
